have a look at Linux and give it a try
The Linux Presentation Day (LPD) is a non-commercial, international event where members of the general public are invited to watch Linux helping with everyday situations and have the opportunity to test it and ask questions (free of charge). This event is organized by volunteers from both enthusiast and commercial backgrounds alike. It takes place in spring and autumn and is organised by different kinds of hosting organisations e.g. IT associations, institutions of education, and companies.
If your country is missing in the list and you are interested in organising an LPD event then have a look at the web site for LPD organisers.
